What is OMA and is BSA apart of it?
OMA is the Office of Multicultural Affairs. BSA falls under OMA.
Vision of OMA: By the time of Graduation, each student will be equipped with the knowledge and experience to be active, productive, and vocal leaders within their diverse communities.
Mission of OMA: To enrich the holistic development of each student by encouraging them to recognize and embrace the uniqueness of their personal culture while valuing the culture of others

What does BSA stand for?
BSA stands for Black Students Association.

What is the mission of BSA?
To continuously create and maintain a standard of African-American cultural awareness on campus as well as the Abilene community. While exemplifying Christian values, BSA provides enriching activities and worship that fosters a sense of community, service, and diversity for all students

How did BSA start?
Originally BSA was the Essence of Ebony, founded in 1996 from a black history program. When it became an offical student organization the name was changed to Black Students Association.

Is BSA just for the African-American students?
While the organization is prodomately made of black students, BSA is open to ACU students of all races and ethnicites. BSA members are diverse in majors and hobbies as well.

ACU offers small group chapels on Tuesdays and Thursdays, does BSA have a chapel?
YES! BSA has chapel every Thursday in Hart Auditorium.
